PILOTENKUECHE live at Westwerk / 08.09.17

Last weekend George de Moura and Martin Holz performed sound and poetry live at “Westwerk” during the “Westwerk Werkschau” – an  exhibition which presented positions of the local art scene such as Verena Landau or Cornelia Starke. We thank the organizers for the invitation!

Re-View: Gute Stube // 16.01.16 / 28th round

Some impressions of ‘another great show’ (Tighe O’Connor) – ‘Gute Stube’ (16.01.2016) – during the famous ‘Spinnereirundgang Winter 2016’ with works of the 27th round (October 2015 – January 2016). Diverse positions are linked and mixed by common topics, a similar focus or any connection to light up intersection in between different disciplines and artists. Re-View: TERMINATERROR // 26.02.15

For the last “Winterrundgang 2015” the artists Norihiro Usui, Martin Holz & Ines Lucines took part on the “PILOTENKUECHE” -exhibition with their work “TERMINATERROR”. The artwork consisted of different and diverse positions which were compared to one body.

Further collaborations at the “KUNSTFEST 2015” are planned. The festival will happen at the new uprising “EASTSIDE STUDIO” of the “PILOTENKUECHE”. We let you know all informations about these new future of our residence.

Last week I met Martin, the coordinator of the Pilotenkueche project, artist and writer, an extremely fascinating person, completely dedicated to his work. Thereby, I promised to allow him to give his testimony without further interruption.

Therefore, Pilotenkueche is an artist residency, a generator of disciplinal complexity. It has autonomy and a personality with various shades. It organizes expositions, event, representations, hosting between 6 and 10 artists who use the space for their personal usage. The focus is on the multitude of disciplines and their connections, from authors to artists, to performances, a synergy, and a mutual exercise to explore art. Continue reading
