Final Exhibition // “FLUGBAHN” of the 34th round / 24.03.18

The final show of our most recent participants from the US, Canada, Israel, Denmark, Chile, Turkey, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Brazil, and Ireland, bring a focus on painting, sculpture, textiles and photography. The group will present the work following three months spent at the program. Here are impressions of their most recent preview exhibitions, realized and displayed at the spaces of our partner “Alte Handelsschule” and “Ping Pong“:

“FLUGBAHN”‘ is a flight path. In the 34th round at PILOTENKUECHE, we discover new trajectories, and examine common intersections. A single space contains paper and sound, dyed fabric and video footage, modified attire and paintings. In one moment individual routes are perceived, in another, the collective enterprise of sharing one Flugbahn.

We are also pleased to incorporate the work of our local participants, Anja Heymann and René Schäffer, as well as our guest artists featured during the program of the opening night at our studios. All are welcome to board the final flight of the 34th round.
