Here are some impressions of last weeks in-house artist talks with the recent residents from Austria, the UK, South Africa, South Korea, the USA, Canada, Brasil, Scotland and Argentina. Our aim was to gain a overview about the diversity of approaches found at our studio. This is the first step towards the common goal of collaboration & discourse, leading to our final group exhibition. We were excited to learn that this round shares a common motive of critical underpinnings in their artistic & thematic approach. Needless to say, we are eager see what they will come up with.
To open the presentations we had a wonderful talk delivered by a former resident, the interdisciplinary and forever enchanting Jacqueline Van de Geer. Thank you so much for visiting us!
