Expansions: Magdalena Cichon joins PILOTENKUECHE

We’d like to introduce Magdalena Cichon as the new Program Coordinator. She studied Painting and Textile Art at Burg Giebichenstein Halle until 2014, cooperating with galleries since 2011. Since 2015, she has been writing her Ph.D. thesis at Bauhaus University Weimar about painting as a means of research and epistemology. From April 2018, Magdalena will continue Natalia Kalicki’s work at Pilotenkueche.

As a painter, Magdalena mostly works with acrylic on canvas, experimenting with coincidence and oscillating between display and abstraction. The human body, its means of expression via its diverse ranges of shape and posture, is her main topic.

Check out her website here.

We are excited that Magdalena is going to join the team of Pilotenkueche where she will coordinate activities, set up exhibitions and care for PR-related tasks.
