Re-View: Pilotenkueche at LS43 // 10.02.18

Last week, PILOTENKUECHE exhibited a selection of video works from the permanent collection. Curated by Jos Diegel and taking place at our most recent partnership venue-  LS43, this was our first show based in Berlin. We thank the organizer and curator for this opportunity, and look forward to future collaboration!

LS43 is a trans-media space that supports contemporary trans-media and video artists with cyclical two month exhibitions.

Re-View: Pilots at Ping Pong // Kaleidoscope GmbH / 08-11.02.18

Last week, some of our pilots had a joint exhibition at an experimental art space in Lindenau. We had a wonderful time in the collaboratively curated room, in which there was a nail-painting intervention, oil paintings, paper works, as well as an ominous fabric sculpture.

We would like to thank the organizer, curator and artist Marcel Noack of Ping-Pong for his collaborative spirit! Please join us for our next show, DURCHDASHAUS, on February 22nd!

Visiting: Hannes Uhlenhaut and Studio Paunsdorf // 01.02.18

Last week, PILOTENKUECHE visited the east side of Leipzig. Hannes Uhlenhaut, co-founder of Studio Paunsdorf, welcomed us at his ceramic & mixed media collective atelier. We discussed the history of ceramics, its connection the the baroque, new was of using an old material, and art for space ships. We discussed process and the notion of a “calculated mistake,” when a mistake is more interesting than what is meant to happen. Thank you Hannes for having us!
