Eriz Moreno is an artist from Bilbao, Basque Country. His practice has led him to places as different as Eastern Europe, North America and Western Asia where he spent time researching and collecting documentation for his projects. He has been part of several collective shows, such as “9980 km el horizonte que nos separa” at the Domus Artium 2002 Museum (Salamanca) and” Horizonte” at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. His solo shows include “Projekt Beton” at the Szczecinek Regional Museum (Poland) and “Ararat” at the Ereván Contemporary Art Museum (Armenia). We asked him a few questions about the process behind his work.
Anushka Rustomji is currently based in Dessau. Born in Karachi in 1989, she graduated from the National College of Arts in Lahore with a BFA in Painting. Her drawings and paintings are inspired by the varying shapes and patterns found in natural elements and land forms. We asked her three questions to get to know her better.
Born in 1983 in Brazil, Duane Bahia Benatti is now based in Leipzig. He studied visual arts at FAAP in São Paulo graduating in 2010. His research has led him to experiment with materials: creating his paintings by in turn juxtaposing dried layers of acrylics on canvas or constructing these disembodied sheets of paint as stand-alone pieces. Recently he also created his own recipes for handmade inks.
